Shooting in Swampoodle

I spent Friday night riding around the Philadelphia with local news photographer Joe Kaczmarek. I am researching in preparation to produce a documentary on the crisis of gun crime in Philly and similar cities.

We went to the scene where a man had been found lying in the street, shot several times in the Swampoodle section of North Philadelphia. Nothing had changed in the three years since I covered crimes scenes on these streets.

Its time for a change.
