Live iPhone Video: Just Married!
By Jim MacMillanKathy and I had the great fortune of being surrounded by family and friends from around the world during our New Year’s Eve wedding in Philadelphia’s Old City.
During the ceremony, I handed my iPhone off to our friend George Miller, and – using ustream.tv and the Broadcaster app – we live-streamed our wedding to the world.
We didn’t get married in a disco, but it looked that way as a result of the flashing cameras, partly because so many of our friends are also photojournalists.
We feel so grateful to everyone! It was an incredible experience.
(You can see George at work at left and below. More photos and high-quality videos are pouring in from friends on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/jimmacmillan Friend me!)
Happy New Year!!!

Kathy & Jim,
Congrats. Just finished watching the ceremony on the ol’ computer. Sorry I couldn’t go and see it live. Kathy, I’m a terrible Uncle, but I want you to know that I didn’t forget your wedding. But in my ususal fashion, I am “running a little late.” Will have a card and small gift on the way soon!
Love,
Your “Fashionably Late” Uncle Loren (Not to be confused with you “late” Uncle Loren. I am still alive.) :o)
