Midnight, gettin' uptight. Where are you?

I can’t believe I almost missed Joan Jett’s birthday. OK, I never really celebrated it before, but just caught the news and thought it would be a good excuse to post another video or two. According to Wikipedia, Joan Marie Larkin was born at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, a suburb of Philadelphia, on September 22, 1958.
From YouTube, here are a couple of performances of “I Hate Myself For Loving You,” one from last year, just before she turned 50, and another from about 20 years earlier.
(The recent video starts rockin’ around 2:30. The lyrics on the older video aren’t even close, but here is a pretty good translation.)
