On Presidential Photographs

Better late than never, I found a terrific assortment of presidential photographs online Monday:
Indisputably, the most breathtaking gallery of inauguration photos came by way of the The Big Picture at boston.com. Honestly, digital images look so great in this grand format, I can’t begin to imagine why every newspaper photography staff doesn’t get this kind of display.

Finally – I saw this one last week – but I think everybody agreed that a remote camera photo by Chuck Kennedy of the McClatchy-Tribune Photo Service really stole the show.
